New for 2008! Chuck created his Cottonwood line to take advantage of the Dobson-style tone rings that have become vailable. We first saw an 11-inch pot in March 2008 and the 12-inch joined the line-up in August 2008.

List price is $2505 for the 12-inch Vintage, and it is Sold.
A gigbag or a hardshell case is available, of course.

	This particular banjo is maple, with a warm brown stain.			The "Texas" scooped ebony fingerboard has Chuck's distinctive offset abalone dot position markers..
	The peghead is simple, and has a classic MOP & abalone fleur de lis inlaid in its ebony headstock overlay.			As on all of Chuck's Vintage series banjos, the tuners (including the 5th string tuner) are PegHeds brand 4:1 planetaries, masking as fiddle-style friction tuners.
	The 12-inch, 2-ply maple pot is home to a Dobson-style tone ring that provides a very mellow and rounded tone. The hardware is all non-plated brass, which will develop a nice old-looking patina.			It comes set up with a No-Knot tailpiece and a Renaissance brand head. This is one great sounding old-time banjo!
