2005 Martin D-18
The Martin D-18 has been the workhorse model of the Martin line-up for ca. 75 years, and it's still going strong!
This one is in very good condition, having a few small dings and scratches, but nothing to impede its easy playing or its great sound. It has a McIntyre Acoustic Feather pickup that was installed in our shop.
It comes with a all-black, Martin Geib-style hardshell case (designed for their Johnny Cash D-35--even the hardware is black), and is consigned here at only $1399.

The solid spruce top is in really good condition, having just a few small dings (the largest is ca. 3/4 inch, and does not go through the finish).

There are no significant scratches or marks on its mahogany back and sides.
The rosewood fingerboard has MOP position dots and is clean, with no fret wear.

The Martin-branded tuners are enclosed and permanently lubricated. (The 6th string tuner shows a reflection in the photo. It really looks just like the other five!)
The mahogany neck has been polished to a gloss finish by the owner's playing, and is in really good shape.
| |
The peghead is classic Martin, with a rosewood overlay. This guitar does not have any of those common peghead chips caused by doorways, banjos, and ceiling fans...

A strap button as been installed in its heel.
