This 12-fret, slot head model has really great sound (I bought one off the store wall for personal use a few years back!).

That big sound comes from its being one of Martin's vaunted "Vintage Series" instruments, so it has forward-shifted, scalloped bracing. As a slot-head, it has a 1-3/4 inch fingerboard (at the nut), which makes for easy fingering, too.

This large bodied instrument is in great shape, and is only $1999 withs its original, Geib-style hardshell case.

	The top has a rich color, and is in very good condition, with a newly installed, replacement pick guard.			The mahogany back and sides are also in very good condition.
	The peghead has Martin's old-style decal, and is slotted as per the old style.			The tuners are the high quality Waverly brand.
	The mahogany neck as a strap pin installed in the heel, and is in good shape with no serious capo dings or scratches.			The rosewood fingerboard has a simple abalone dot inlay. Note also the old-style purfling (the new D-18s have the same purfling as do D-28s).
